General Rules
Bow Hunter Class. Each team must consist of 4 men/women with no age requirement. No range finders or binoculars may be used or carried on the course. Teams may discuss the yardage. Men shoot from the positioned blue pins; women & 16 and younger shoot from the positioned white pins. There will be a 50-yard maximum. Course will be changed monthly.
Fees and Prizes
Teams are required to submit 3 scores each month: May, June, & July. Each team member will pay $10.00 each round for a total of $30.00 /month regardless if you shoot or not. 25% pay out: Prizes will be determined by the number of teams entered in the league. Club Championship & Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place: 3-way shoot off with the highest scoring team in each month (if team is high twice, 2nd place will go to the shoot off). Archer with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd highest average of the year will receive a shop gift certificate.
Scoring
Scoring will be the best three arrows of the four team members: Scoring will be IBO 12,10,8,5,0. Each archer must use at least one score for the 1st 15 targets and one score for the last 15 targets. If only 3 archers shoot in a round, one "0" will be counted on the first half and one "0" will be counted on the second half. Women and archers 16 and younger will be spotted 50 points. SHOOTOFFS WILL BE DETERMINED AT A LATER DATE.
Score Cards
Each archer is asked to mark the scorecard with their name, date, and Round #1, #2, or #3. Place the money and scorecards in the league mailbox at the end of each round. Please make a special note if your scorecard is not accompanied with the $10.00. You can pay ahead but make a special note. Scorecards will be picked up weekly and statistics will be reported periodically.
Bow Requirements
Bows must have a stabilizer <12" and use no magnification. A track, trough, channel other device capable of mechanically holding the bow at full draw is not allowed. Crossbows are not allowed unless you're disabled and the President of the League approves the bow. Fingers or a manually held release aid shall accomplish the release of the arrow.
